Aozora Japanese Restaurant at Akasaka – Tagaytay Highlands

Akasaka, the Japanese dining room at the Country Club’s Gourmet Avenue, now houses the third location of Aozora Japanese Restaurant. The Tagaytay-based restaurant chain is popular among locals and travelers in the city who are into authentic Japanese dishes. Thus, the restaurant is a recipient of Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence Award for 2018 and 2019.

Aozora’s owners Jesse and Christine Villongco, together with Tagaytay Highlands Founder Willy Ocier, President Jerry Tiu, Board of Directors Member Manuel Gana, and General Manager Claire Kramer were present during the formal opening rite in the morning of June 1, 2019.

Aozora also operates the Coffee Shop in Gourmet Avenue, which serves snacks and cold refreshments aside from third-wave coffee (high-quality or artisanal coffee).

Aozora Japanese Restaurant is open Thursdays (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Fridays and Saturdays (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.), Sundays (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.), and holidays (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
