SUSTAINABILITY and development across strategic locations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao set the standards for property excellence during the 13th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards held on Aug. 15. About 30 of the nearly 70 awards given during the ceremony went to sustainably driven developers from across the archipelago.
PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards 2025 also honored companies that have gone above and beyond ESG standards and practices in real estate. RLC Residences won both the Sustainable Design and Energy Efficiency awards, while RLove by Robinsons Land Foundation, Inc. won the Social Impact Award. I-Land, Inc. received the Sustainable Design Award, in addition to a golden statuette for Best Eco-friendly Condo Development for I-Land Residences Sucat.
Robinsons Offices’ GBF Centers 1 and 2 won the Best Green Commercial Development Award, while the Best Green CBD Development Award was given to the Biz Hub at LIMA Estate by Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates. The winner for the Best Nature Integrated Development was Trealva at Midlands West by Highlands Prime, Inc.
Lance Gokongwei, chairman of Robinsons Land Corp., received the first-ever Life Achievement Award at the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards for decades-long efforts that include portfolio expansions and significant investments in renewable energy.
Robinsons Land bested all nominees to win Best Developer, its fourth consecutive win in this category. Also hailed the year’s Best Luxury Developer, it garnered wins for projects like The Mall | NUSTAR; work.able GBF Center 1; and The Victor at Bridgetowne.
Cebu Landmasters, Inc. took home titles for Best Developer (Mindanao) and Best Developer (Visayas). Also hailed Best Housing Developer, it gained wins for the projects Mivela Garden Residences; Casa Mira Towers LPU Davao; and Velmiro Plains Bacolod.
Other Mindanao-based developers that were honored included Damosa Land, Inc., winner of Best Boutique Developer for Agriya Gardens, Kahi Estates and Bridgeport Park; and Alsons Development and Investment Corp. for Avia Estate and Narra Park Residences Avia.
In Luzon, Batangas-based projects and their developers received a lot of recognition. Among them were Seafront Residences by Aboitiz Land, Inc., also part of Aboitiz Group; PDO Courtyards Lipa by Pueblo de Oro Development Corp.; Torre Lorenzo Development Corp.’s Tierra Lorenzo Lipa – Merano Tower and Dusit Princess Lipa City; Pico Terraces by Costa del Hamilo, Inc.; and SMDC Symphony Homes’ Sunnyhomes and Sunnyvale 1.
PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards General Manager Jules Kay said that the awardees show the Philippines’ “commitment to sound, sustainable urbanization, whether in the form of master-planned developments or strategically located projects in the archipelago’s urban centers.”
He also said that the winning developers “keep pace with those looking to invest in high-quality commercial and industrial spaces in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies … They pave the way for development that is sustainable and impactful.”
Established in 2013, the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, as part of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series, has expanded its presence to 13 property markets around Asia-Pacific, including Australia, China, and the Middle East.
