MANILA, Philippines — A unit of property giant SM Prime Holdings Inc. has completed construction of the remaining residential units at Horizon Terraces. It is a 3.2-hectare integrated development within the Tagaytay Highlands leisure estate.
The Sy family-led property developer announced on Wednesday that SM Leisure Resort Residences (SM LRR) would turn over the Scottsdale Villas to homebuyers this December 2025. Meanwhile, Redstone Condominiums would be handed over by March 2026.
This completes Horizon Terraces, a development that rises 800 feet above sea level and offers breathtaking views. These range from the lush fairways of the 18-hole championship Tagaytay Midlands Golf Course to the iconic Taal Lake and Mt. Makiling.
“We provide our buyers a seamless move-in experience. They can step into their units and immediately experience the Tagaytay Highlands lifestyle with their family and friends,” said Shirley Ong, SM LRR head and executive vice president.
Located within the Midlands district of Tagaytay Highlands, Horizon Terraces is designed as a hybrid residential enclave. It combines townhome and condominium formats within one master-planned community. It offers a one-hectare Central Garden, designed with resort-style pools, pocket gardens and exclusive recreational space for residents.
SM LRR said this development “elevates mountain resort living by dedicating more than 70 percent of its land to landscaped gardens and open space.”
This development was meant to capitalize on the growing appetite for premium secondary homes south of Metro Manila.
The entire enclave features Garden Villas—three-storey townhomes ranging from 139 to 172 square meters. These include Scottsdale, Glendale and Sunnyvale. Scottsdale alone has five villas valued at a combined P199 million.
The Garden Suites are one- to two-bedroom low-rise condominium units ranging from 35 to 103 square meters. They comprise St. Andrews, Glenview, Westchase and Redstone.
Redstone has 60 residential units valued at P600 million.
Select residences come fully furnished as SM LRR has partnered with Crate & Barrel and Our Home, both SM brands.
