SM’s Highlands Prime continues to develop Premier Residences South of Manila

Leisure property developer, Highlands Prime, Inc. (HPI), an affiliate of the SM Group, marks nine years of building high-end residential communities with more themed developments in Tagaytay Highlands and the master planning of its first 30-hectare primary home project in Canlubang.

The company recently launched Sierra Lago, its seventh themed luxury lot development at Tagaytay Highlands. This 9.6 hectare property is located at The Midlands, where homes inspired by modern Mediterranean architecture are set amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes of a bird sanctuary, serenaded by bird trills and lulled by cool breezes. Sierra Lago has Mt. Makiling and the Highlands mountain range as backdrops and the fairways of the Midlands golf course and Taal Lake and Volcano as view corridors. 185 lots were opened with an average lot cut of 250 square meters.

Also launched is the second phase of one of the company’s sold out communities, The Woodridge Place Phase II. The demand for another condominium project which offers friendlier unit sizes and prices prompted HPI to add two more towers, Linden and Mahogany. The towers will have a total of 88 units. Each building will have a lobby and four elevators. Available unit types are a three-bedroom unit (136 sqm) and a four-bedroom unit(188 sqm). Wide windows are strategically located opposite each other for adequate natural lighting, as well as to encourage cross-ventilation and the circulation of cooling breezes. Balconies come standard, so residents can enjoy the gorgeous views of the Highlands golf course, the Canlubang valley, Laguna de Bay and the surrounding mountains.

In 2011, HPI embarks on a milestone project as it ventures outside of Tagaytay Highlands and begins the master planning of 172 hectares of prime land in Canlubang, Laguna. Envisioned to be an upscale mixed-use residential estate with various points of interest and first-rate amenities and community innovations, HPI’s Canlubang property brings new opportunities for growth and expansion. The design of the different exclusive residential villages will be diverse in size and theme, and appropriate for the area’s cool weather and mountain environment. A multi-awarded international design firm together with a local partner will craft the master plan.

In this new decade, HPI remains true to its vision to be the leading developer of first-rate, themed, and high-end residential properties, committed to enhance and build on what it has already established by broadening the company's product range and offerings, thereby providing clients with more and better choices for quality homes.
